Inna Lillahi Wa inna ilahi rajiun. Singapore's beloved Shaykh Abdul Maqsud al Faris al Hasani passed away this morning. May Allah swt bless his soul. Somehow I am saddened by the news. The last time we met him, I get a feeling he knew he was leaving this world because of the things he said. I didn't expect it so soon. I remembered thinking it is such a blessing to be sitting down with him having a chat and how peaceful it felt to be in his house.

The night my mom passed away, he made du'a for my mom and he gave the water he blessed to me. When I heard the water was for me, not for my mom, I had a feeling my mom is going to pass on. Another saint has left us. These saints, sometimes they leave a mark in your heart even if you've only met them a couple of times. May Allah swt bless him with the highest Jannah.
